Published: 26 February 2018

On Monday 26 February, three Southampton Law School alumni joined the Intellectual Property class to discuss their work in the online trade mark enforcement field.

The title 'Trademarks in practice: a snapshot of trademark enforcement in the online environment' was delivered by our three alumni.

The speakers

Kemi Taiwo: I graduated from the University of Southampton Law School in 2016. As I really enjoyed studying Intellectual Property at university , I decided I wanted to pursue a career in this area. I now work at INCOPRO as a Pre-sales Analyst, where I conduct online investigations to create reports which assist brands with determining the scope of their online IP infringements.

Tosshan Ramgolam: International Legal Studies graduate (2013-2017), with a year abroad at Singapore Management University. Previous experience working as a trade mark researcher equipped me with the skills necessary for my current role of a Brand Enforcement Analyst at INCOPRO.

Max Klymenko: Obtained an LLB from the University of Southampton (2016) and MSc International Business from Warwick Business School (2017). Throughout my studies worked as a tennis racket salesman at Wimbledon Championships before accepting a position at INCOPRO. After working in Pre-sales, I moved to the brand enforcement team.
