Law School Annual Careers Fair

Southampton Law School’s annual Careers Fair, which took place on 21 November 2018, again attracted nearly 50 organisations, including the leading global law firms Baker McKenzie, Clyde & Co, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Herbert Smith Freehills.

The Careers Fair forms a key part of SLS’s extensive employability programme and gives students valuable opportunities to find out first-hand about vacation schemes and Training Contracts, as well as network with a wide range of potential employers. We take the employability of our graduates very seriously and our year-round employability programme includes a wide range of skills-based seminars, many of them delivered by top law firms.

At the opening reception, Professor Brenda Hannigan, SLS Head of School said: “We are delighted to welcome so many potential employers, all eager to recruit our students, recognising the high quality legal education on offer from our Law School.”
