Consultation delivered by Law Academics
A consultation response on the Draft Chinese Maritime Code was submitted to the Ministry of Transport of People’s Republic of China by academics from Southampton Law School on 7 December 2018.
The consultation response was drafted by Dr Meixian Song, Dr Jingbo Zhang, Dr Johanna Hjalmarsson and Prof Paul Todd and submitted under the direction of Prof Andrew Serdy, Director of the Institute of Maritime Law.

Dr Jingbo (Jenny) Zhang is a Lecturer in Commercial and Maritime Law and a member of the Institute of Maritime Law at Southampton Law School. Her research interests are primarily in the fields of international sale of goods, international trade finance, carriage of goods by sea and marine insurance. Apart from teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Southampton, she is also actively involved in delivering training to both academic and industrial partners.
