Law academics appointment to Society of Legal Scholars
In December 2018, Dr Meixian Song and Dr Jingbo Zhang have been appointed as co-Convenors for the Contract, Commercial and Consumer Law Section for the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS). They will serve in this capacity for the next three years. The SLS is one of the UK’s most learned legal associations. It seeks to advance legal science and legal education.

Dr Jingbo (Jenny) Zhang is a Lecturer in Commercial and Maritime Law and a member of the Institute of Maritime Law at Southampton Law School. Her research interests are primarily in the fields of international sale of goods, international trade finance, carriage of goods by sea and marine insurance. Apart from teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Southampton, she is also actively involved in delivering training to both academic and industrial partners.
