Dr Harris Psarras speaks at University of Exeter debate
Dr Haris Psarras along with Dr Dennis Eady of Cardiff Innocence Project argued in favour of the motion 'This House Regrets the Rise of Trial by Media' at the University of Exeter Debating Society on 30 November.
The speakers distinguished between investigative journalism and trial by media and emphasised that in a liberal democracy the judiciary guarantees that the rights of the accused and media freedom are mutually supportive.
