Presentation Skills session offered to all Faculty students

Ian Graham a former senior partner at the major law firm, Trowers & Hamlin for over 25 years visited the University yesterday to deliver an excellent session on Presentation Skills.

Ian has considerable experience speaking at and/or chairing internal and external events; and running a training programme for his firm on presentation skills for a number of years.
His session which was attended by a wide range of students from across the Faculty offered advice and guidance on the following:
·         Advance preparation
·         How to make best use of powerpoint slides
·         Managing nerves
·         Body language
·         Vocal delivery
·         Handling Q&A
