Hi, I'm Liliana Maria Rodriguez and I studied LLM Commercial Law within Southampton Law School at the University of Southampton.

It was important to me to study abroad and it was a major decision where to go. I have felt very good here. This has been an experience which has opened my mind and changed my life.

I am from Bogota in Colombia, South America. I completed a Master degree in commercial law and did work experience there as a lawyer after completing my LLB degree.

It was important to me to study abroad and it was a major decision where to go. I had started working in the shipping industry, and people there told me that Southampton would be the best place for me. I have found this to be true because of the professors, the legal resources, but most of all because of the people - there are amazing people here in Southampton .

When I arrived, I was met at the airport, which was great, and I now live in a very good hall of residence, where there is an interesting mix of both local and international students from all over the world. I have felt very good here. This has been an experience which has opened my mind and changed my life.
