Miss Debo Awofeso is Postgraduate research student within Southampton Law School at the University of Southampton.

She graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008 where she obtained her LL.B. She subsequently attended University of Southampton where she obtained her LL.M in Maritime Law.

Debo worked for a few years as a Senior Research Assistant at the Institute of Maritime Law, having also spent a brief period working as a Research Assistant to LMAA Arbitrators Colin Sheppard and Dr Aleka Mandaraka-Sheppard. She is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a contributor to a website dedicated to domestic, European and international aviation law, www.aviationlaw.eu.
