Ms Emma Nottingham is Postgraduate research student within Southampton Law School at the University of Southampton.

Emma's research focuses on children's rights, with a particular emphasis on healthcare law. In addition Emma teaches law of torts and has guest lectured in this area.

Emma completed her LLB at Southampton Law School in 2010 and was subsequently offered a place as a research student under the University of Southampton's PGR studentship.

Emma was part of the team of research students who established Southampton Student Law Review and later became the Editor-in-Chief for the academic year 2011-2012. Emma has also assisted in many of the law school's pro bono initiatives, having undertaken roles such as Housing Clinic and Employment Law Clinic Co-ordinator and Innocence Project Team Leader and Case Worker.
