UCAS tips

Plan and start your application as early as possible. Everything on your UCAS form is important, and it's the one chance you will have for the year of entry.

Keep your personal statement focused towards the course that you're applying for. If you have a hobby or interest, show how this relates to the course.

For courses involving more than one subject area, demonstrate your interest in each subject and justify your choice of the combination.

If you're a mature applicant, highlight the experience and skills you've gained outside formal education.

As well as guidance from your tutors at school or college, there is plenty of advice on the web. See our links below!
