Employability events

Our Careers and Employability Service offers an extensive calendar of events designed to support our students in finding placements and graduate work. An in-house team of graduate recruiters and specialist careers advisers enable us to run a variety of activities from careers fairs to business simulation workshops and mock interviews.

At the Southampton Law School, as well as benefitting from outstanding teaching, you will also have the advantage of an extra curricular programme which offers an impressive range of opportunities in which you can develop and enhance key employability skills.

Law Fair

This highly successful annual event is open to all Law students, including postgraduates. University of Southampton non-Law students interested in Law are also invited. Typically, over 200 students attend.

A range of employers and organisations, including global and regional law firms, Chambers and postgraduate training providers attend the event and to meet and engage with students. Many of the representatives are Alumni and it is an excellent opportunity to network and make invaluable contacts for the future.
