Law Societies

Southampton Law students are invited to join a number of student led societies. Joint membership offers access to all the society events which include open days at city and regional firms, networking events, presentations, mooting competitions, workshops, and trips to The Inns of Court, European Parliament in Brussels and more

Law society

Our key aims are to support our members' ambitions of achieving a career in law, regardless of subject discipline, through running a diverse and exciting schedule of events throughout the year.

Inns of Court Society

focusses on giving students the chance to develop transferable skills through workshops, presentations, networking events and more.

Lawyers without Borders

is affiliated with the non-profit organisation Lawyers Without Borders, formed to promote and further their work.

Mooting society

simulates court proceedings in which participants argue a fictional case using real statutes and case law.

The Canadian Law Society

Our aim is to create a unified identity for current and future Canadian law students at the University of Southampton.
