Talks and individual guidance for project qualifications

We work with schools across the country to offer a range of workshops and individual guidance suitable for students at all stages of a project qualification.

A major feature of project qualifications is the emphasis on developing a wide range of academic skills, many of which are new to students. The graphic on the right shows the key components of project qualifications, echoing the fundamental skills that students will enhance during their university studies.

The Learn with US Transition team specialise in teaching these skills in clear and engaging ways. We provide free bespoke information, advice and guidance tailored to the needs of students - with as little or as much input as schools and colleges require - to complement existing taught skills programmes.

Our support can be delivered as lecture-style talks and one-to-one guidance. Our sessions cover all major aspects of conducting research projects – from developing a research question, undertaking academic research, to writing and presenting a project. One-to-one interactions provide opportunities for students to ask a member of the team questions specific to their own projects.

Both the workshops and individual guidance can be offered on site at the university, or at your school free of charge. To request more information, or to arrange a workshop, please visit our booking request page.
