Resources for Teachers

As well as providing support for students undertaking the EPQ, we also offer support to teachers who deliver the project as co-ordinators, or supervisors.

Hartley Level 4

In 2020 and in 2021, we produced virtual content that would usually form the basis of our annual EPQ Teachers' Conference.

In 2020, in collaboration with the University of Leeds, we hosted a virtual keynote and three Q&A panels with EPQ teachers from a variety of schools. These sessions covered the benefits of the EPQ for social mobility, how to embed the EPQ within school/college culture, advice for new practitioners, and a focus on supporting students producing artefact projects.

In 2021, again in collaboration with the University of Leeds, we have produced a short podcast series, with episodes focused on setting up the EPQ within school for those who wish to pilot the project, advice for new co-ordinators and supervisors, and advice on marking and moderating projects. These resources can be accessed below.
