Hartley Library Phase 2 Refurbishment Project completed

Areas on Levels 1, 4 and 5 of the Hartley Library have benefitted from the summer 2017 refurbishment. On Levels 1 and 4, new quiet study spaces are provided in areas of the building previously not open to users. We have added a new Group Study Room on Level 4, power is supplied to all desk tops and the Level 4 Library Training Rooms are now presented and equipped to the high, modern standard you require. We have added @450 additional study spaces.

It’s been a summer of disruption, noise and mess in the library. Our users have been very tolerant, understanding and patient with the demands and inconvenience of the building work. We appreciate this very much. We hope that you are as delighted as we are with the refreshed, vibrant and stimulating environment that the library now offers.
