Professor of Reproductive Medicine, Associate Dean of Enterprise,Medical Director for Complete Fertility
Professor Ying Cheong is Professor of Reproductive Medicine in Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton. She is also the Associate Dean of Enterprise. In her clinical role, she is the Medical Director and Responsible Officer for Complete Fertility.

From there on, we can start to investigate treatments that improve reproductive outcomes …’
Professor Cheong is one of the co-founders of Complete Fertility Centre in Southampton, now part of the Virtus Health group. She specialises in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, and is well known for her expertise in reproductive surgery, with many years of experience in the management of endometriosis, fibroids, recurrent miscarriage, polycystic ovaries and pelvic pain disorders. She co-founded Verso Biosense, a spin out company from the University of Southampton which specialises in the development of biosensors for the improvement of women’s health and fertility. Professor Cheong is an active clinical trialist, and she works closely with collaborators across disciplines in the School of Electronics and Computer Science and Nanoscience within the University of Southampton in the development of nano-therapeutics and medical biosensors.
