A contingent of staff from the Facilty of Medicine have delivered an Intensive Course on Genomic Medicine in Colombia.

Professors Andy Collins, Sarah Ennis and David Wilson (Associate Dean for Internationalisation) and Drs Will Tapper and Reuben Pengelly delivered the course over a two day period. The course was hosted by Universidad de la Sabana, with delegates attending from nine additional Universities across Colombia.

The course was oversubscribed by a diverse group of about 50 delegates, including postgraduate students as well as academic faculty staff. It is hoped this successful visit will help build upon and extend exisiting collaborative research links and promote additional student and collegiate interaction.
