PhD student poster presentation at the World Congress on Biosensors 2018

Antonio De Grazia, PhD student under the supervision of Dr Maurits de Planque (Electronics and Computer Science) and Dr Nick Evans (Medicine), presented a research poster at the World Congress on Biosensors 2018 in Miami.
The World Congress on Biosensors is a prestigious event for the biosensors community and attracted more than 900 attendees for a topical and comprehensive programme. Antonio's poster presented his research on the development of a microfluidic device to analyse single cells for regenerative medicine applications. The conference provided him with the opportunity to interact and network with researchers and companies from all over the world.
Antonio said “This was one of the best experiences of my life. By interacting with so many delegates in the field, I explored new ideas on how to improve the system I am developing and it has given me confidence on the results obtained so far."
