The Irish Revolution

This module will examine the Irish Revolution. Specific focus will be placed on viewing the partitioning of Ireland from a gendered perspective.

The Irish Revolution

The module will trace the development of the revolution from debates over Home Rule in the 1912-1914 period, through WWI, the growth and political triumph of Sinn Fein in the 1918 election and into the Anglo-Irish and Civil Wars, through to the partition of Northern and Southern Ireland.
