Study Days Programme 2016 2017

Published: 11 August 2016

For people who have less time to commit to a longer course or who are beginning to explore an interest in a particular topic, Lifelong Learning at the University of Southampton hold regular, one-day cultural events consisting of a series of short talks on a particular theme that are led by world leading experts from within the University.

These Study Days tend to focus on a broad range of topics and issues surrounding a subject or person, and consist of a series of short talks led by experts from within the relevant department, with a buffet-style lunch and refreshments included. Discussion and debate are a feature of study days, so we like to keep the groups small and informal to encourage interaction.
