Event details

Hyperpolarization techniques enhance nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) signals by up to 5 orders of magnitude. The advent of hyperpolarization opens up new areas of application and is inspiring the development of new methodologies and theoretical approaches. This is the first international conference devoted to hyperpolarization as an integrated subject, covering the full range of hyperpolarization techniques, including: optical pumping of noble gases dynamic nuclear polarization parahydrogen-induced polarization quantum-rotor-induced polarization Frontier applications will also be reported, such as clinical medicine, materials science, biomolecular structure determination, and nanoscale magnetometers. The confirmed plenary speakers are: Bob Griffin, MIT, USA Sami Jannin, ENS Lyon, France Fedor Jelezko, Ulm, Germany John Kurhanewicz, San Francisco, USA Anne Lesage, ENS Lyon, France Leif Schröder, Berlin, Germany Thomas Theis, Duke Univ, USA The conference will include 45 lectures and 4 poster sessions. A selection of abstract submissions will be promoted to lecture slots.
