Research interests

I am interested in Quantum Chromodynamics at nonzero temperatures and densities, with particular emphasis on applications to neutron star physics. In this context, I am working on superfluidity and superconductivity in nuclear and quark matter and its relation to astrophysical observables. Besides quantum field theory, hydrodynamics, and phenomenological models, I am also employing the gauge-gravity duality to get insight into strongly coupled, ultra-dense matter.
