Dr Daria Semochkina is a Research Fellow in the Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute (S3RI) and Mathematical Sciences. Her research interests are in emulation methods, emulation based optimisation, uncertainty quantification and design of experiments.

Research interests

My research interests are mainly in computational methods in Bayesian statistics. In particular, I study methods that are based on creating and using surrogate models for computationally intensive computer models. This includes building emulators and using those emulators for Bayesian optimisation problems. More generally, I have an interest in uncertainty propagation and quantification.
