Research interests

My main research interest is in classical relativity, with applications to numerical relativity and black hole physics.

My main PhD work revolved around critical phenomena in gravitational collapse. That is, the phenomena that occur when evolving initial data that are close to the threshold of black-hole formation.

Currently, I am working on a multi-domain spectral method approach to solve the Poisson equation with a point-particle source term on a fixed Schwarzschild background. This has important and direct applications to current second-order calculation, which are crucial to the future LISA project.
