New academics add to Mathematics' expertise
The School of Mathematics is pleased to welcome two new academics with expertise in the areas of Statistics and Pure Mathematics.
Professor Steven Gilmour (Statistics) has joined us from Queen Mary University. His research interests are in the area of design of experiments, response surface methodology, model selection in regression and applications in biotechnology and industry. Professor Martin Kassabov (Pure Mathematics) has joined us from Cornell University. His research area is in combinatorial group theory and applications of different combinatorial methods in abstract algebra.
