Mathematics and S3RI to host prestigious international conference

The University of Southampton is honoured to have been named as the host venue for the eighth International Conference on Multiple Comparison Procedures in 2013.

They will host the event when it is held in Southampton next year.

The event, which is hosted by the School of Mathematics together with the Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute (S3RI), will bring together statisticians from academia, industry and regulatory agencies to share their latest ideas and concepts and the applications of multiple comparison procedures.

"It is a great privilege and a real pleasure to be hosting the next conference here in Southampton," said Professor Wei Liu .

"Delegates will get the chance to explore many interesting and current topics such as bioinformatics, clinical trials, genomics, false discovery rate, multiple endpoints, and adaptive and sequential design," he added.
