The OR Society is offering two Master’s degree scholarships of up to £10,000 each for the 2018/2019 academic year to help with the tuition fees of students interested in Operational Research.

If you are a high-flying student in a quantitative discipline (first class degree expected) and you wish to apply, the first action is to make an application now to one of the following programmes in Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton: MSc in Operational Research (OR), MSc in Operational Research and Finance, or MSc Operational Research and Statistics.  The Admissions Officer will then select the most suitable candidates to put forward to the OR Society for this scholarship scheme from those who have accepted offers of places.

To apply for the scholarship, candidates must be eligible for UK fees. Complete applications, including references, should be made by 19 February. Candidates selected by the Admissions Officer will be notified by 21 February 2018 and their application forms will be sent to the OR Society. The OR Society hopes to inform those awarded scholarships around mid-April.

If you have any queries about this scheme, please consult the Admissions Officer by emailing PGTapply.FSHS@soton.ac.uk.
