Rankings success for Southampton Mathematical Sciences

Southampton Mathematics was placed 12th in the 2019 University Subject tables for Mathematics recently produced by the Complete Universities Guide (CUG), a rise of 11 places since the 2018 table.

The CUG assessment is based on a combination of Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality and Graduate Prospects. The full table can be viewed here .

This follows similar success for Mathematical Sciences in the 2018 QS world rankings. Statistics and Operational Research maintained a world top 100 ranking, as did Physics, and Southamtpon Mathematics broke into the World top 150.
