Rankings success for Southampton Mathematical Sciences
Southampton Mathematics was placed 12th in the 2019 University Subject tables for Mathematics recently produced by the Complete Universities Guide (CUG), a rise of 11 places since the 2018 table.
The CUG assessment is based on a combination of Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality and Graduate Prospects. The full table can be viewed here.
This follows similar success for Mathematical Sciences in the 2018 QS world rankings. Statistics and Operational Research maintained a world top 100 ranking, as did Physics, and Southamtpon Mathematics broke into the World top 150.
