Eight new Turing Fellows from Mathematical Sciences

Congratulations to Jacek Brodzki, Philip Greulich, Ben Macarthur, Helen Ogden, Houdou Qi, Marika Taylor, Dave Woods and Alain Zemkoho wha have all been appointed as Turing Fellows by the Alan Turing Institute.

 

The Alan Turing Institute is the national institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The University of Southampton is one of 13 partner universities, having joined the Institute in 2018.

 

Turing Fellows are established scholars with proven research excellence in data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field. They contribute to new ideas, drive collaborative projects, secure external funding and provide research expertise which is actively connected with the Institute and its network of universities and industry partners. They also contribute to the activities and training at the core of the Institute’s mission and the ongoing development of the next generation of researchers.
