Professor Ian J Leary ,Professor Ian J Leary say's 'Group theory, especially geometric group theory and its connections with homological algebra, geometric topology and algebraic topology. I particularly like creating (or should I say discovering?) examples of mathematical objects (such as groups or spaces) that have unusual combinations of properties.'

Dr Armando Martino ,Dr Armando Martino's research interests include geometric group theory, automorphisms of free groups, group actions on trees and residual finiteness properties of groups.
