According to the gauge/gravity dictionary, gravitational domain wall
solutions describe renormalization group flows in the dual theory. Many
important examples in this class have been found working at the effective
supergravity level. In this talk, we will present a general approach to
construct BPS domain walls in five-dimensional N=4 gauged supergravity. We
then apply the general conditions to two distinguished examples of N=4
supergravities, signi?cant because they can be obtained as consistent
truncations of type IIB supergravity. The first one is found by reducing
on an arbitrary Sasaki--Einstein internal manifold. The second is an
enlarged truncation on the conifold that provides a supersymmetrization of
the Papadopoulos-Tseytlin ansatz. Our method gives a superpotential for it
that reduces, in the appropriate limits, to the known ones for the
illustrious solutions on the conifold. Moreover, it also yields a
supersymmetric version of the Pando-Zayas--Tseytlin solution and a
candidate superpotential for the baryonic branch of the
Klebanov--Strassler theory.
