Date:

Event details

Gravity Seminar

Hawking radiation is one of the most interesting phenomena in physics. What makes it especially interesting is the fact that it involves both General Relativity and QFT. Since we do not have a theory of Quantum Gravity at the moment, we are trying to study the phenomenon using semi-classical methods. In my lecture I will present the CGHS model, which is a semi-classical model that allows us to study the dynamics of Hawking radiation.
