New perspectives for dark energy model building Seminar

I will talk on new promising approaches to build models of dark energy, based on massive gravity and on Galileons. I will emphasize the crucial role of symmetry principles for constructing new scenarios that explain the current acceleration of our universe, and I will discuss intriguing phenomenological aspects of the resulting models. Moreover, I will also critically examine some of the theoretical challenges that are left for the future.
