Binary complexes, K-theory, and ideas towards calculations. Seminar

I will recall some of the basics of algebraic K-theory, before presenting the definition of K-theory in terms of binary complexes. I will then discuss some useful methods for manipulating binary complexes and indicate some possible uses of these methods for computations. This is work in progress.
