The use of responsive designs is more and more applied in developed countries, due to ease of access to the necessary paradata. So far only little is known and developed for the survey process in developing countries. The underlying research is going to analyse the collected paradata for large household surveys in a developing countries and determine through its analysis Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which can then be used through real time monitoring with the survey management console of the World Bank's Survey Solution CAPI software, to implement a Responsive Survey Design (RSD). The main indicators we are looking at are time per questionnaire, time per question, time travelled as a proxy for interviewer burden and finally on the relationship of the interviewer burden to questionnaire processing time and non-response (item and unit). The current presentation will mainly focus on ideas related to the possibilities provided by the software.
