Geometry and Topology of Networks and Data Seminar

This will be an informal overview talk on my interests in applied graph theory and topology. I will describe previous work on networks and symmetry, spectral clustering for power transmission networks, multiplex networks, and current interests on Topological Data Analysis and higher-dimensional discrete Laplacians, including a topological ranking applied to horse racing data. Parts of the talk will be joint work with subsets of {Ben MacArthur, Jim Anderson, Jacek Brodzki, Graham Niblo, Nick Wright, Conrad D'Souza}.
