Matrix groups SO(n), SU(n) and Sp(n) are isometries of vector spaces R^n, C^n and H^n respectively and people have been studying them for a long history. They form important families of simple Lie groups which are building blocks of Lie groups. In this talk I will introduce their cellular decompositions, homologies and topological structures.
