Event details

In this talk I would like to disuss the details of my work on the cohomology of the free loop space of complete flag manifolds. However I believe the constructions exhibited can more widely applied. I will demonstrate the techniques I used to study rank 2 flag manifolds by giving the details of the constructions in the case of L(SU(3)/T). In particular I will derive the differentials in the cohomology Leray-Serre spectral of the evaluation fibration of SU(3)/T. Then examine how the theory of Gröbner basis can be applied to provide an analysis of the spectral sequence. Finally I will talk about solving the arising extension problem to deduce the cohomology algebra.
