Abstract: I will talk about three recent results: 1. Uniformly recurrent subgroups and a query of Glasner and Weiss on minimal actions. 2. The question of Kellerhals, Monod and Rordam on free, minimal, amenable, purely infinite actions on the non-compact Cantor-set. 3. The completely free version of the topologically free and minimal universal model of Weiss.
