Event details

The aim of the paper is to explore how MNCs orchestrate resources to help their multi-tier supply chains learn sustainability. A multiple case study approach is adopted. We found that in order to achieve sustainability, MNCs tend to orchestrate resources to help their supply chains to learn. We extend and enrich the Resource Orchestration Theory, which is internally focused to a supply chain context. Our theory refutes the resource dependence theory which adopts a passive way of relying on external suppliers and propose that MNCs should proactively work with internal and external stakeholders.
