The talk will present a framework for determining the homotopy type of the based loops on certain spaces. The methods will be applied to give a thorough analysis of the based loops on (n-1)-connected 2n-dimensional Poincare Duality complexes, and the based loops on (n-1)-connected (2n+1)-dimensional Poincare Duality complexes.
