I am working on holography, that postulates that the dynamics of spacetime can be described by a quantum theory without gravity in one less dimension.
Explicit realisations of holography in the context of spacetimes with timelike boundaries have been studied extensively over the last twenty years, but the reconstruction of spacetime in the context of null and spacelike boundaries is much more poorly understood. My goal is to develop the holographic reconstruction of spacetime, using recent developments involving quantum error correction, simplicial complexes and asymptotic symmetry.
Currently, I am working on recovering the information in the black hole interior.
