Fabian Gittins is a Postgraduate research student in the STAG group at the University of Southampton researching accretion flows onto neutron stars

Before Fabian came to Southampton, he completed his MSci in physics at the University of Birmingham. At Birmingham Fabian focused on theoretical astrophysics and did a number of projects with the Gravitational Wave group, particularly working on modelling binary systems and understanding their evolution towards forming compact objects.
