Mekhi’s research is on modelling gravitational waves from black hole binary systems, using numerical relativity and black-hole perturbation theory. Mekhi is a member of the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) mission consortium.

General Relativity, Gravitational Waves, Black Holes, Intermediate-Mass-Ratio Inspirals (IMRIs), Numerical Relativity, Gravitational Self-Force.

Project Title: Modelling black hole binaries in the intermediate-mass-ratio regime.

Supervisors: Prof Leor Barack and Dr Adam Pound
