This course will develop your mathematical knowledge by introducing to you cutting edge areas of mathematical research and equipping you with many of the skills needed for a career as a professional mathematician.
You will study both the theoretical and practical aspects of statistics and gain the communication skills needed to work as a statistician, where there is usually a substantial teamwork component.
This is our most flexible degree course, in which you can take broader modules such as psychology or languages alongside the core and optional mathematics modules.
