Our exciting Studyabroad@Social Sciences programme gives a wide choice to undergraduate international students looking to study with us for a semester or up to a year.
Please visit our @studyabroad hub to find out about more pathway options.
This is a more structured programme focussing on Statistics and Operational Research (OR), enabling you to develop the analytical and quantitative skills required by businesses and organisations, spanning public and private corporations both large and small. There is a strong focus on modelling and optimisation, often in real world examples where variability and uncertainty has a key role to play. Students achieving at least 60% on the Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research pathway (with pass grades in at least six level 3 modules) will be eligible for admission to a Masters programme in the School of Mathematical Sciences. (To be eligible for admission onto a Statistics MSc. programme, you must include MATH2010 and MATH3044 in your programme).
The pathway can be studied for one or two semesters. You will study four modules per semester. Please choose modules up to a maximum of six in each semester. This will give up to two reserve choices in case modules are not available for any reason.
Students meeting the criteria for progression will qualify for admission onto the linked Masters programmes listed below.
