ETRS-WHS 2015 Event

Under the theme “From Bed to Bench” many aspects concerning tissue repair and regeneration will be discussed; surgical wounds, burns, chronic wounds, diabetic ulcers, matrix metalloproteinase inhibitors, biofilm, bacterial and fungal infections, gastrointestinal healing, hernia repair, sports injuries, excessive scarring, wound and scar assessment, chronic wound models, serological biomarkers, systemic and topical therapies, electrical stimulation, gap junction proteins, platelet concentrates, dressings, topical negative pressure, tissue engineering, stem cells, cytokines/growth factors, inflammation, extracellular matrix, angiogenesis, apoptosis, ageing, cellular senescence, and health economy.

This Joint Meeting will allow for liberal exchange of scientific ideas and data among clinicians and basic scientists in academia and industry with connection to all surgical disciplines, dermatology, endocrinology, microbiology, rheumatology, oncology, gerontology and neurology.
