What Do We Do When We Teach Sociology to Medical Students?

Kathy Kendall presented a paper on teaching sociology to medical students on a panel at the British Sociological Association Annual Conference, 6 April 2011.

Kathy was part of a panel addressing teaching, learning and professional issues. Her paper considered the rewards and challenges of teaching sociology to medical students. Her paper will contribute to work by the Behavioural and Social Sciences Teaching in Medicine (BeSST) sociology working group whose remit is to look at the teaching of social sciences in medical education in the UK.
