Student winners announced: Competition for student places to attend ASME

Annually, the Faculty of Medicine runs a competition for undergraduate medical students to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME).

The competition requires entrants to write a 500 word essay on: "Which aspect of the medical school teaching at Southampton do you find most puzzling and why?"

The 2013 winners were announced in May, they are: Nimeshi Jayakody, Michael Eddie, Jinal Shah and Emily Mayo. The four of them will attend the conference in Edinburgh in July alongside members of staff and fourth year students who are presenting their research.
