BM(EU) Staff Development weeks continue

Published: 25 July 2014

A third staff development week for key teachers and coordinators on the BM(EU) programme in Germany has just taken place.

The latest group to come to Southampton included Heads of Department, General Practitioners and the Nursing Directors of Klinikum Kassel and of two nearby district hospitals, Bad Arolsen and Hofgeismar.

As well as covering the structure of the BM programmes, teaching and assessment methods used, and the support available to students and staff, the week included a day in the NHS and a morning observing the Third Year OSCEs which it seems they were very impressed by, both in terms of the students, actors and clinicians involved, but also by the sheer organisation of the day.
